First minutes We start reading public routing data and whatever traffic evidence you sent, and reply with exactly what we need to begin.
Activation The fastest path in - usually a GRE/IPIP tunnel or a BGP announcement through us; a cross connect if you are already in one of our sites. A tunnel turn-up is a configuration session, not a project.
Traffic moves Your prefixes come in behind the filter; thresholds are set against what your legitimate traffic looks like, and the attack stops arriving.
Afterwards You get the incident record - rule, thresholds, composition and the packet capture - and the protection simply stays on.
